This article will talk about Utas additional settings such as category, shortlink options, schedule post, and expiration date.

Category

To select a category for a post or product, kindly follow the steps below :

  1. Create a new post/product or edit an existing one.
  2. Click on the ADDITIONAL SETTINGS option.
  3. In the Category section, select the category you’ve added. If it doesn’t exist, it means you haven’t added any category. You can learn how to add it here.
  4. Click on the Publish button to save.
  5. Click OK on the success notification.
  6. Finished.

Shortlink Options

To use the short link or link shortener feature on Utas, kindly follow the steps below :

  1. Create a new post/product or edit an existing one.
  2. Click on the ADDITIONAL SETTINGS option.
  3. Check the Shortlink Options section.
  4. In the Shortlink field, there is the default short link from Utas. Example: https://utas.to/1hkv9m.
  5. To change the default short link, you only need to click on the field and replace it with the link you want. Example : /utas-tutorials.
  6. You can also add UTM Parameters in the Campaign Parameters section.
  7. To add another short link, click on the + button.
  8. While to delete the short link, click on the trash icon.
  9. Click on the Publish button to save.
  10. Click OK on the success notification.
  11. Finished.

Schedule Post

Also, you can schedule the publishing of your post or product in Utas. To do so, kindly follow the steps below :

  1. Create a new post/product or edit an existing one.
  2. Click on the ADDITIONAL SETTINGS option.
  3. Check the Schedule Post section.
  4. Click Choose to select the date and time to publish your post/product.
  5. Click on the Publish button to save.
  6. Click OK button on the success notification.
  7. Finished.

Expiration Date

This setting serves to hide your posts/products in Threads according to the schedule you have specified. For example, you set the expiration date to be June 4, 2022. After June 4, 2022, your post will no longer appear on your profile page, but can still be accessed via the Dashboard Thread.

To use it, kindly follow the steps below :

  1. Create a new post/product or edit an existing one.
  2. Click on the ADDITIONAL SETTINGS option.
  3. Check the Expired Date section.
  4. Click Choose to select the expiration date and time for your post/product.
  5. Click on the Publish button to save.
  6. Click OK button on the success notification.
  7. Finished.
