What is Mailer feature?

Utas Mailer feature allows you to send messages to all of your buyers in bulk via email with just one click. You may use this feature to send promotional emails or emails with information about your latest product.

To use this feature, you must have U-Credit balance and at least one subscriber. If your balance is 0, The Compose button will not be active and you can’t send the email. (Learn how to top up your U-Credit balance).

How to Use The Mailer Feature

To use this feature, you can follow these steps:

  1. Log in to app.utas.co
  2. Click the Audience menu.
  3. Click the Mailer tab
  4. Click the Compose button.
  1. On the Compose Message page, write your email’s subject and messages. You can also personalize your email by using tags like [customer_name], [customer_phone] or [customer_address].
  2. Click the Send Now button to send your email. You can save and edit it later by clicking the Save Draft button. 
  1. Click OK in the pop-up notification.
  2. Your bulk emails have been sent to all of your customer’s emails.
  3. Done. 

How to View Email Delivery Statistics

In this Broadcast feature, you can view statistics from the emails that you have sent. You can follow this step: 

  1. Log in to app.utas.co
  2. Click the Audience menu.
  3. Click the Mailer tab
  4. Click the Sent tab.
  5. Select one of the email sent, then click the Details button in the Action column.
  1. Your email delivery statistics will be shown on the Detail Message page. The data will appear, including Successfully Sent, Opened, Click, and Bounced.
  2. Done. 

Mailer Feature Limitations

Mailer Feature’s function is limited only to broadcast emails. Therefore:

  • There is no automation.
  • There is no email builder. If you want to use the Email Builder, you can use the KIRIM.EMAIL service by integrating and synchronizing your customer data first.
  • There is no segmentation.
  • There is no autoresponder.
  • It can not be scheduled.
  • You can not use your domain for the sender email, and there is no format for sender email. The sender email name will be in line with your profile name. For example, if the Utas Profile name is Nafisa, so the sender will automatically become nafisa@utas.co
  • Unable to reply to the sender email. There is no inbox option for the meantime. So, the reply will be directed to the profile email. If it is not set yet, the reply to email will be redirected to the main account email.
  • Standard Statistics is only for reporting (successfully sent, opened, clicked, and bounced) for the time being.
  • Unable to import subscribers. Subscribers will only be shown and added automatically when the sales transaction is in Utas.
  • It can only be used with Utas Credit with minimum active period 1 year. (Learn how to top up the Utas Credit here)
  • Utas Credit cannot be merged or shared with other accounts/profiles.
